Ask a question

What is 3Doodler 2.0?
The 3Doodler 2.0 is the latest generation of the world’s first 3D printing pen. It is compact & easy to use making it the best selling 3D printing pen in the world too. The 3Doodler 2.0 extrudes heated plastic that cools almost instantly into a solid, stable structure for some amazing 3D printing fun.
How does the pen work both PLA and ABS plastic considering they melt at different temperatures?
PLA melts at a lower temperature than ABS, so the pen is designed to have two temperature settings for varying plastic materials. Please be sure to use the correct setting with the plastic you are using!
Can I paint over doodles with acrylic or some other media?
Yes you can. And you can do that almost immediately as the “ink” cools almost instantly as it leaves the pen. Spray paints, apart from acrylic paints, can also be used as long as the paint adheres to plastic. We'd recommend making your doodles extraordinary by painting them, but remember to test the paints first on a small doodle.
How long can the 3Doodler 2.0 be used continuously?
Your 3Doodler 2.0 is an awesome tool. We've designed the pen so that you do not have to put it down at all. But like any mechanical device it needs a break now and then. We suggest giving it a downtime of less than 30 min after two three hours of continuous use.
How can the 3Doodler 2.0 be used for repairs?
The 3Doodler 2.0 can be used as a plastic welding tool too. If you have something made of ABS plastic (the most common form of plastic) you can repair it with 3Doodler 2.0.
